Q.Please introduce yourself and your current job: Hello. I am Se Hee Kim, a style designer of TOMBOY Design Center Ladies Design Team.
It has already been 8 years since joined the company in 2016. I was able to make my obsession my job by starting my job at a brand that I really liked and wanted to work for.
Q.How did you start your job?: Since I was young, I liked clothes and wanted to work in the fashion industry, so I studied fashion design in university.
After having on-job training during the school, I decided to be a designer. It was something I admired the most, and I found it attractive to create new things.
Q.What was the most memorable project?: I still cannot forget the moment when I saw someone on the street, wearing the clothes I designed. I was too excited and almost followed her to say hello. And I feel achieved when I sign on the work order sheet for reordered items and find good reviews on the SI Village site. The more I cared about, the greater sense of achievement I feel, I guess. And most recently, I felt so fulfilled when I received the SI Employee of the Year award

Q.What kind of efforts do you make to grow your expertise?: Since this job is sensitive to trends, it is important to see and experience new things. So, I try to go out and do market research or find new places rather than staying at home on weekends.
Q.Please describe what you would like to look like in the near future.: I want to be recognized as an important and irreplaceable person in our team!

Q.What does Shinsegae International mean to you?: The first company who gave me the opportunity.
Q.Can you recommend anything to prepare in advance to the applicants who are interested in your job?: The most important thing is to have various experiences. It would be good to open your eyes to fashion and trend by exposing yourself to various environments. And look at things with your eyes! It is good to do research on the Internet, but also necessary to see things with your own eyes and research as much as possible. It will be a great help as you can learn the details and various fits by trying on and looking for various clothes and also naturally learn what consumers like.
Q.What is your favorite brand? And can you tell us why?: STUDIO TOMBOY!
I have a deep affection not only because I work for it but also, I liked the brand even before joining the company, and even now, TOMBOY takes the biggest space in my closet. Because it is TOMBOY? I like the brand itself. TOMBOY is attractive because it offers not only comfortable daily items, but also trendy styles reinterpreted in the way of TOMBOY.

Q.What do you think is the strong point of Shinsegae International?: I think the strength of SI is the fact that it has both various imported brands and solid national brands.
Q.Do you have any special hobby to keep work-life balance?: I work out! I am currently doing two kinds of sports. Although I am terrible at both because I am a poor athlete, I regularly do them before and after work on weekdays. When I did not have a hobby before, I could not spend time completely for myself even after the work. I am obsessive about looking for something pretty while using a mobile phone or social media after work, but when exercising, it is good that I can focus on only myself without looking at the phone. It is physically hard but gives mental relaxation and energy.
